Summer Camp Intensives
Join us this summer for 7 exciting camp intensives! Our camps run in 2 week intensives, 5 days per week, for 1 hour per day. Each intensive will have a different skill or theme that encompasses the camp ranging from special effects, to cosmetics, to prop fabrication, and more! Check out everything that is offered below! All camp sessions are $550 which includes the 8 classes and all necessary class materials!
Intensive 1: May 15th - 26th
Beauty Basics 5pm
All of the baseline skills needed for a beginner makeup look. This intensive is great for students who are brand new to makeup or have little experience
Movie Monsters 6pm
This character creation intensive is PERFECT for any Harry Potter fanatic. Students will make goblin masks, mandrakes, and more! This intensive is well suited for all ability levels
Intensive 2: June 12th - 23rd
Eyes and Teeth 5pm
This special effects intensive is a great option for those interested in prop/prosthetic fabrication! Students will learn how to sculpt and mold fake eyes and teeth for character creations!
Movie Monsters 6pm
In this character creation intensive, students will learn the classic techniques that created the original Frankenstein makeup. This intensive is well suited for students who are newer to special effects and looking to learn basic skills.
Intensive 3: June 26th - July 7th
Movie Monsters 5pm
This intensive focuses on the classic vampire makeup of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula'. Students will learn how to make custom vampire fangs, pointed ears, and classic ghoul makeup.
Blood, Guts, & Gore 6pm
Just as it sounds, this intensive is all about the gory details! Students will learn a variety of blood effects, how to create fake wounds, make fake intestines, create their own blood recipes and more!
Intensive 4: July 10th - 21st
Intermediate Cosmetics 5pm
The Intermediate Cosmetics intensive is great for students who are self-taught or have minimal experience with makeup and are looking to gain formal instruction. Students will review basic skills, go over different cosmetic materials and how to use them, and learn how to apply makeup onto themselves and others.
Movie Monsters 6pm
We couldn't do movie monsters without including Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Students will learn how to make the stitched skin mask that was popularized by the movie and will fabricate a prop version of the feared chainsaw!
Intensive 5: July 24th - August 4th
Movie Monsters 5pm
Students in this camp session will learn the techniques of burn makeup while re-creating the iconic looks of Freddy Kreuger. They will also learn how to make a prosthetic nose and fabricate Freddy's bladed glove.
Airbrush Cosmetics 6pm
The makeup industry is full of unique ways to create and expedite flawless looks. This intensive will focus on airbrush makeup, beginning with basic airbrush skills. Students will then learn how to implement these skills on a live model
Intensive 6: August 7th - 18th
Movie Monsters 5pm
We are bringing Halloween to summer time with Trick 'R Treat! Students will recreate Sam's prosthetic face appliance and burlap overlay. Students will also work with flat molds to fabricate Sam's trick or treat lollipop!

This intensive comes back for a second round this summer! Just as it sounds, this intensive is all about the gory details! Students will learn a variety of blood effects, how to create fake wounds, make fake intestines, create their own blood recipes and more!
